Sabbay,

Oh Easter is definitely Pagan. All the hints are there, the bunnies and fertility symbols, are related to the goddes of Easter. Satan can't deceive me.

Sabbay,

I agree that Easter is Pagan, as evidenced by all the fertility symbols: ie. candy bunnies, candy eggs, easter loaves etc. We must not be equally yoked with unbelievers and additionally we must study to show ourselves approved unto God, exposing error, without compromising truth (Ezekiel 8:14, 2 Corinthians 6:14, 2 Timothy 2:15, Revelation 6:5),

Sabbay,

I agree that Christmas and Easter are both overflowing with Paganism. We must not be yoked with unbelievers as the Bible clearly states. I do not believe that Christ was born on December 25th, as it remains clear that Paganism attributes such a date to the birth of the Sungod Tammuz. WE MUST NOT BE DECEIVED BY SATAN, THE ADVERSARY.

What does it matter what day we celebrate easter? Christmas was known as Yule before Jesus, isn't He stronger than what day we celebrate on? It is written concerning this and the seventh-day, "One man considers one day more sacred than another; another man considers every day alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind" (Romans 14:5). The verse you quoted above is concerning us in relation to the Spirit as it is written, "And no one pours new wine into old wineskins. If he does, the wine will burst the skins, and both the wine and the wineskins will be ruined. No, he pours new wine into new wineskins" (Mark 2:22) and this mainly being against denominataionalism. Instead of focusing on the splinter in the holiday-authors eye, just think about how we helped take over a Pagan holiday for Jesus! Instead of putting down your' Catholic brothers and sisters, take the plank out of your' eye! This isn't idolatry but the opposite: a strike to the side of satan! Thank God we have days to remind us and celebrate Who Jesus is and what He does and did! God bless you!
